Emotia is happy to present the wedding photography of Joanne & John. It was fun and exciting to document their day that was full of love, family, and good friends. You could tell from the quiver in his lip and look in his eye that John really loves his girl. (He proposed to her at the top of the Empire State Building – how classic is that?) Joanne looked absolutely fabulous and was a ton of fun the whole day. Here’s a sneak peak of from the Chinese wedding of Momei and Nathan, a really fun couple that got married on Saturday 09.19.09 at the Peninsula Hotel in Chicago. If you’ve had the pleasure of meeting them, you’ll know that they’re a very fun-loving, passionate couple who cares deeply for the special people in their lives – family and friends. The day was full of non-stop fun, a high point being Nathan grabbing the mic during the first dance and singing along with the music to his beautiful bride.

Connie and Joe were married at Howes Memorial, a small and intimate chapel in Evanston. Shooting in a smaller church was certainly a nice change of pace. Joe and Connie had been dating for four years and decided to tie the knot with a small audience of family and close friends. After the ceremony we went to the nearby Shakespeare Garden for some pictures and we also took a short walk to the Northwestern University Library. Congrats Connie and Joe! It was great to share in the joy of your day. And Connie, I hope enjoy the ‘depth of field’! LOL!

We met this couple back in the winter and we’ve had fun getting to know them while shooting their engagement photography. Now that summer in full swing, it’s time for them to get married! It’s our pleasure to present wedding photography for Yana & Peter, who got ready at the Ritz Carlton Chicago. Great location (in the heart of Chicago’s Mag Mile), great decor, great pictures! The Ritz Carlton is another Chicago venue that’s fantastic for wedding pictures; we especially like the large fountain in the lobby, and the garden down the hall.

It may be cold outside but winter weddings are pretty warm and fun. Here’s wedding photography for Yana & Leonard, who had their Russian wedding at the Peninsula Hotel Chicago. As always, The Peninsula is a fantastic place for wedding pictures; we never run out of interesting locations to shoot there.
